Terminal 6: Australia

Welcome back my Trendy Nail Travelers, your flight attendant Beata here, buckle up for we are ready to fly off into a very exotic trip!

Welcome To Darwin, Australia!
Darwin is the capital city of the Northern Territory, Australia. It is the most cosmopolitan city which boasts a population made up of from more than 60 nationalities and 70 different ethnic backgrounds. This multicultural mix of a city is highlighted by its many exciting, ethnic cultural festivals, food and craft markets. Darwin is closer to Indonesia than to both Sydney or Melbourne. It has evolved from its old days of being a laid back frontier town to a still relaxed and charming yet sophisticated city!

One of the most visited landmarks found in the Northern Territory is the Kakadu National Park.
Kakadu is a timeless place, a beautiful and diverse location beyond belief. It is one of the largest National Parks in Australia, covering almost 13 miles (which is almost half the size of Switzerland!). Kakadu is inhabited by the Aborginal People and some still live in towns or settlements in Kakadu. Kakadu National Park is the home for 2,000 plant species, most in which have been used locally by the Aboriginal tribe for medicinal, food and weaving purposes. Kakadu is also the home to the most astonishing array of animals in which can be found nowhere else in this world!

Australia is known for many things: its heritage, wildlife, nature and of course its city-life.
So here are TWO designs which you can rock out Aussie style.

Design Number 1, what better way then to represent Australia then creating this super easy and very simple Australian Flag nail design! The Australian flag was first flown in 1901 and it is the expression of Australian identity and pride.

Design Number 2 is super cute and very fun! I just love it! What else screams Australia than Australia's very own native Kangaroos!? This nail design you just need a base coat (any color of your choice) and just a set of animal decals which are super easy to use and are very easy to apply.

Australia was a blast! I hope you guys enjoyed this very exotic trip!!
Like the Aussie's say " Hooroo Mate, See ya Tomorrow!"

Καλώς ήρθατε στο Terminal 5
(Welcome To)
We Have Reached Greece!!!

Γεια σας!(Hello) again my trendy nail diva's this is your favorite flight attendant/tour guide Aesha here and we have officially just landed in Athens, Greece.

There are many historical land marks here in Greece like the Parthenon and the Acropolis. But today we will be visiting Mount Lycabettus. Mount Lycabettus is a 908 foot mountain made up of cretaceous limestone. Mount Lycabettus hill is the highest point of the city that surrounds it. The bottom of the hill is covered with pine trees and at the top of the two peaks of Mount Lycabettus there is a 19th century chapel, a restaurant and a theater. The theater on the top of the hill is open-aired and has held many Greek and international performers like Ray Charles and Bob Dylan. Mount Lycabettus is a popular tourist destination and has a train that leaves every 30 minutes to bring you to the top of the hill.

This nail design would be a beautiful addition while your visiting one of the many beaches in Greece.
The country of Greece has many islands that are located in the Mediteranean Sea like the Argo-Saronic islands and the North Aegean islands. To give you a little information about the Mediterranean Sea; it is connected to the Atlantic ocean and is almost completely enclosed by water. The name Mediteranea is originated from the latin word mediterraneus, meaning between lands. This sea was an important trade route during ancient times and is averaged to be about 4900ft deep. The typical Mediterranean climate is hot and dry during the summer and mildly rainy in the winters. This nail design is reminiscent of the beautiful blue-green shades of the Mediterranean and would be a beautiful accent while you enjoy this countries beautiful landscapes.

Terminal 4: أبوظبي

Welcome back my Trendy Nail Travelers, this is once again your flight attendant Beata!
Today's stop will be to one of the most beautiful and extravagant places in Abu Dhabi.

Terminal 4 will be flying you into one of the most largest mosque's called The

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. It has the capacity to hold 40,000 worshipers, has over 1,000 columns, 24 carat gold gilded chandeliers and the world's largest hand knotted carpet. The Grand Moseque  started as a vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, he imagined a place of worship that would help people come together, understand Islam and see it as a religion that has a message of peace, tolerance and diversity. After his passing in 2004, Sheikh Zayed’s vision for the mosque was carried on by his sons who brought professionals and materials from all over the world to finalize their father’s dream.

The main prayer hall is dominated by one of the world’s largest chandeliers –10 meters in diameter, 15 meters in height and weighing twelve tonnes, which equals to about 26 thousand pounds!! It was made in Germany using thousands of Swarowski crystals from Austria and glass-work from Italy.  Isn't this chandelier so breath-taking!?
The reflective pools which surround the mosque, only amplify the beauty of this wonderful architecture. At night this mosque has unique lightening systems which reflects the phases of the moon.

Here are your very own nail inspired Abu Dhabi nails! Simple yet the design of these nails inspires the intricate layout of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Moseque itself. The pieces in the middle resemble the crystals that are found on the beautifully sculpted  Chandelier. Keep it simple and beautiful like Abu Dhabi.

Bonjour mes amis: Welcome to Terminal 3

This is your favorite flight attendant Fatima here today and we will be visiting the all so gorgeous Eiffel Tower in France.  In  1889  there  was  a  centennial  celebration  for  the  French  Revolution.  They  were  looking  for  someone  to  build  a  monument  for  the  event.  The  task  went  to  Alexandre  Gustave  Eiffel  whom the Eiffel tower is named  after.  The Eiffel tower became  a monumental  site  for  community  events,  stunts,  and also became and inspiration for other  countries  landmarks.  Today  its  one  of  the  most  recognized  landmarks  on  the  planet.  During  the  world  wars  it  was  a  hiding  place  for  spies.  It takes around  500  people to  maintain  the Eiffel tower, and also  run  the  in-ground  restaurant.

Oscar-Claude Monet is a famous french artist that was born on November 14, 1840 in Paris, France. Monet was well-known for his impressionist paintings including this one which inspired this nail design pictured. This painting was done in 1886 by Monet himself and is an impressionist painting of his second wife Hoschédé Suzanne. The scenery in this painting is on a property that Monet owned. This nail design would be a beautiful design to try for all you Claude Monet fans. This nail design is like bringing a vintage painting to life in a new more modern interpretation. Next time your thinking about going to France or just want a cool piece of artwork always with you then try this cool design.

Terminal 2: Brasil

Olá my lovely nail diva's this is your all so trendy flight attendant Aesha, and welcome to terminal 2!!!

Today's flight will be leaving to the beautiful country of Brasil(Brazil). We will be visiting one of there most cultural, and festive landmarks known as the Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí.

The Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí was a purposely built stadium constructed specifically to host the annual parade of samba schools ,during the festival of Carnaval in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Sambadrome consists of  several free-standing individual structures meant for spectator viewing. These seating structures are built on both sides of the alleyway which the samba schools parade down. The Sambadrome was designed and built in 1984 by architect Oscar Niemeyer. The Sambadrome originally provided seating for around 70,000 spectators in 1984 when it was finished being built. Most historians agree that the first known record of Carnival in Rio de Janeiro took place in 1723. From that year on, Rio Carnival became bigger and bigger until it eventually became a symbol of the gorgeous city of Rio de Janeiro.

This cultural nail design of the official flag of Brazil is a must try. Inspired by the vibrant flag of Brazil it represents a lot about this diverse country. Just to share a little history about Brazil's flag; It was officially adopted on November 19, 1889 replacing the original flag from the second empire of Brazil. The green background and the yellow rhombus were kept from the original flag before this one, representing the reigning House of Braganza and the house of the consort of the first emperor, Habsburg. A blue circle with 27 five-pointed stars replaced the arms of the Empire of Brazil. The stars position on the flag are a representation of how the stars were in the sky on the day the flag was adopted. Each star represents a state plus one for the federal district. The motto "Ordem e Progresso" translates to mean order and progress was inspired by Auguste Comte's  motto of positivism.

This nail design is not only unique but will also be a hit with the prideful natives of this festive, musical and cultural country. So let your inner diva come out and be artsy!!! :)

   Terminal 1: 日本

Hey there my Nail Trendy Travelers, this is your flight attendant Beata and Welcome to Terminal One!

Today's flight will be leaving to JAPAN and visiting one of there most beautiful landmarks known as Tokyo's Imperial Palace.

The Imperial Palace, where their Majesties the Emperor and Empress reside, is situated in the center of Tokyo. The palace is surrounded by a water-filled moat and tree-covered grounds - a precious taste of nature within the bustling metropolitan city. Imperial Palace was known as Edo Castle, a place where samurai warriors lived from the 17th to 19th centuries. A great favorite among tourists is the viewing of the garden's seasonal flowers and Emperor Hirohito's art collection. Imperial Palace is a classic spot for viewing the glorious cherry blossoms. The Imperial Palace of Tokyo boasts of having the largest number of people coming to view the cherry blossoms during the beginning of April.

Here it is my Trendy Travelers! Isn't this cute?! Cherry Blossoms are very popular at the Imperial Palace and what attracts tourists to this wonderful destination. What better way to visit Tokyo then with your own Trendy Pink Cherry Blossom design! This is such a simple design. The only nail polish you need is a cream color base coat, a brown/black, pink and white. Use the base coat to each of your nails and use a nail swiper or a nail design pen to paint in the branches (make them as irregular as possible-remember these are the branches for the blossoms!). Next you can use a dotting tool (or a toothpick) and first make white dots around the branches then after that dries go back with another toothpick and make dots using the pink. Lastly, to finish off this Tokyo inspired design, top it off with a fast drying clear coat! There you go, such a simple yet very elegant design!

This will definitely make an influential statement at the Imperial Palace and everybody will be blossoming about your Pink Cherry Blossoms! :)
